Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), the premium performance nutrition company serving elite athletes, sports enthusiasts, and the active lifestyle community, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Lampard as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 19 October 2022.
Dan is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Unbound Group plc, an omnichannel direct to consumer business. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer of Direct to Consumer at Glanbia Performance Nutrition, a rapidly growing online sports nutrition business. Previous roles include Director of Finance at AO World plc and senior finance roles at Manchester Airport Group plc. Dan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and trained at KPMG. He will succeed James Simpson, who has now left the Group. Greg Edwards, a highly experienced CFO, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer until Dan commences his role on 19 October 2022.
