Partnership with Barratt Developments PLC

Pod Point, one of the UK's market leading providers of Electric Vehicle ("EV") charging solutions, today announces that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Barratt Developments PLC, one of the foremost housebuilders operating across England, Wales and Scotland.

The agreement, which will run for two years, will see Pod Point become a key supplier for Barratt, ensuring its new homes have charge points across its consumer brand portfolio. The deal covers 19 of Barratt Developments' 29 operating divisions across Britain and expands upon a series of previous deals between the two firms, under which Pod Point has installed EV home charging infrastructure in over 3,000 properties.

The partnership follows legislation from the UK government, in force since June 2022, which mandates that all new residential developments in England must have one 7kW charge point for every residence with a parking space. These regulations represent a significant tailwind for both the national rollout of EV charging infrastructure and for Pod Point, as a leading provider of this infrastructure.
