CFO Designate Appointment

The Company is pleased to announce that David Wolffe has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Designate (initially a non-board position) effective 25th July 2022. David Surtees, the current CFO, is retiring at the end of March 2023 as previously disclosed at the time of Pod Point's IPO. The two will work alongside one another to effect a smooth transition of responsibilities before David Wolffe takes over as CFO and joins the Pod Point Board in early 2023. 

David Wolffe has 25 years' board level experience in both public and private businesses, including as CFO at HMV PLC, as Finance Director at ITV PLC, and most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Ted Baker PLC from 2020. His experience spans a number of high growth listed, PE-backed and start-up technology companies in CFO, COO and Managing Director roles. These include AOL, GoCardless and GeniusSports. David holds an MEng degree from Cambridge University, an MBA from INSEAD France, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
