Online Bingo launch in Sweden
NetPlay TV plc (AIM: NPT), the AIM-listed interactive gaming company, is pleased to announce the launch of a Swedish version of its popular bingo product, Bingos.com. The Swedish site will initially launch online and the Company plans to begin integrating its TV and mobile products shortly after. Bingos.com currently operates as an Internet site in the UK, Spain, Italy and Poland.
Bingo is a popular game in Sweden with more than 100 land based bingo halls, 575 non-profit bingo licenses in issue and one of the highest propensities to gamble in Europe with more than 85% of the population participating in gambling. This, aligned with one of the highest levels of internet penetration throughout Europe, makes Sweden a very attractive market.
The launch of Bingos.com in Sweden further establishes the Group as the European leader of online bingo. The addition of another country to the already established sites in Spanish, Italian and Polish will benefit all players as the prize fund will be increased further.
