Julie Chakraverty appointed non-executive director

NCC Group plc, (LSE: NCC, "NCC Group" or "the Company / Group"), the leading independent global cyber security and resilience advisor, announces the appointment of Julie Chakraverty as a non-executive director. She joins the Board with effect from 1 January 2022.

Julie Chakraverty is the CEO and founder of Rungway Limited, a workplace advice platform that empowers people to seek and share advice at work, used by leading global firms.Julie has a wealth of board experience, recently serving as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Santander UK plc and Abrdn plc (formerly Standard Life Aberdeen plc, having been Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Risk and Innovation Committees for Aberdeen Asset Management plc prior to merging). She has also been Chair of the Remuneration Committee for the global insurer MS Amlin plc, a Non-Executive Director for Spirit Pub Company Limited and a Trustee for The Girls' Day School Trust.During her executive career Julie was a Board Member of UBS Investment Bank where she held a number of global leadership positions and won industry awards for innovation every year from 2001-2009 for her "CreditDelta" technology product.

In 2006 she was named in Management Today's 'Top 35 Women Under 35' and in 2013 Julie was recognized in The Times newspaper as the youngest female director of a FTSE-100 company.

Julie will become a member of NCC Group's Audit, Cyber Security, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

The Company confirms that there is no additional information which is required to be disclosed under Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.
