Macfarlane Group PLC10 May 2005 Macfarlane Group plc AGM Statement At the Annual General Meeting of Macfarlane Group PLC held on Tuesday 10th May2005, the Chairman, Archie Hunter made the following comments: Trading Update The Group's recovery plan adopted in January 2004 identified opportunities forfurther significant results improvement in 2005. Nothing has changed the Board'sexpectation in this regard and the good trading results for the last quarter of2004 gave encouragement that the recovery was gaining momentum.
