l All information regarding management performance and financial results of LG Electronics during the 3rd quarter of 2010 as contained herein has been prepared on a consolidated basis in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS"). 2nd quarter of 2010 and 3rd quarter of 2009 results are also prepared on a consolidated basis in accordance with IFRS for comparison purposes.
l From 2nd quarter of 2010 LG Innotek has been excluded from the consolidation of LGE due to LGE's stake declining to 49.95% in April 22, 2010. For comparison purposes, 3rd quarter of 2009 results is also prepared with LG Innotek excluded from LGE's operating income and instead included in the net income as profit (loss) from discontinued operations.
l In addition, the information regarding results of the 3rd quarter of 2009 and the 3rd quarter of 2010 have been prepared in advance, prior to being reviewed by outside auditors, solely for the convenience of investors of the Company, and is subject to change in the process of final review by outside auditors.
