Board Appointment

Kennedy Ventures plc ("Kennedy Ventures" or "the Company") the owner of a tantalite mine in Namibia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Hibberd as Chief Executive Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

Peter Hibberd is a qualified geologist and mining engineer from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College with over 30 years' experience in the mining industry. During this time he held a number of positions with major mining houses including De Beers and JCI. He has specialised in pegmatite geology and has been involved in numerous tantalite projects in South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, DR Congo and Colombia.
