Inditherm PLC09 January 2006 Press Release - RNS version 9 January 2006 Inditherm plc ("Inditherm" or "The Company") Second US Patent Granted Inditherm plc (AIM: IDM), the provider of innovative heating solutions to thefood, industrial process, utility, medical, construction and sport industries,has been granted a US patent for the electrical connection that distributes asafe, low voltage current to the unique carbon polymer upon which its heatingsystems are based. The patent runs for 20 years from 1st June 2001, the date oforiginal application, and complements an existing US patent for the polymertechnology itself. The patent covers "a device for connecting a source of electrical power to acoating or film incorporating carbon particles." The main benefits includeelectrical efficiency gains and a more uniform heating effect over a relativelylarge area, without the hotspots associated with many other technologies.
