Change of Group Company Secretary
Ibstock plc announces that Robert Douglas will be retiring from the role of Group Company Secretary on 8 November 2019 and Nick Giles will be appointed as Group Company Secretary on that date.
Robert joined the Company as IPO Project Manager leading up to the Company's stock market listing in June 2015. He was subsequently appointed Group Company Secretary in October 2015 and has been a key member of the management team and been responsible for advising the Board on all aspects of Corporate Governance.
Nick Giles joins us from RPC Group plc where he held the position of Company Secretary. He has a wealth of company secretariat experience gained through governance and compliance roles at a number of UK listed companies. He is a Fellow of ICSA ¦ The Chartered Governance Institute and has an MA in Business Law.
