The following amendment has been made to the Treasury Share Transfers announcement released on 14 April 2011 at 13.39 under RNS No. 9340E
The total number of shares has been amended from 380,896,860 to 383,206,618.
All other details remain unchanged.

Treasury Share Transfers
In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 the Company announces that on 13 April, 2011, a transfer of 2,306,387 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy awards vesting under the Hiscox Ltd Performance Share Plan.
Following the transfer, the Company has a total of 22,836,487 held in Treasury and a total of 383,206,618 ordinary shares in issue, excluding Treasury shares.
