Asia Energy PLC10 July 2006 Asia Energy PLC ("the Company") Notification of Interest in Substantial Holding Under sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985("The Act") and rule 15 ofthe AIM Rules the following information falls to be disclosed: In reference to the notification released on 22 June 2006, in accordance withSection 202(4) of the Act, that, at close of business on the 04 July 2006, ofthe interest disclosed, HSBC Bank plc held 3,954 shares constituting interestsas mentioned under Section 208(5) of the Act.
