DIRECTORATE APPOINTMENT
Appointment of new independent non-executive Director
Helical Bar is pleased to announce that Susan (Sue) Clayton is to be appointed to the Board of the Company as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 February 2016. She will become a member of the Nominations, Audit and Remuneration Committees and will Chair Helical Bar's Property Valuation Committee.
Sue (58), who is an Executive Director at CBRE and a Fellow of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), has an impressive track record having acted for a wide range of institutional and property company investor clients in all aspects of commercial property during her 35 year career at CBRE. A former Managing Director of CBRE's Capital Markets Team, she has sat on the CBRE UK Management and Executive Boards and was the Employee Director on the CBRE Group Inc. Board. Sue currently chairs CBRE UK's Women's Network.
In addition to her roles at CBRE, Sue is a Board member of the Committee of Management of Hermes Property Unit Trust, and a Trustee and Chair of the Development Committee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation.
