Issue of equity

Further to the announcement made by HICL Infrastructure Company Limited (the "Company") on 13 December 2012, the Board of Directors confirms that the Company is looking to raise up to approximately £42.88m net of costs through the issue of ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") to qualifying investors* through its corporate broker, Canaccord Genuity Limited ("Canaccord"), (the "Issue"). The Issue price per Share will be 119.5p. The Issue is expected to close at midday, in the absolute discretion of the Company and Canaccord.
The Company will make a further announcement of the results of the Issue later today.
*As defined in section 86(7) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (as amended).
