Director/PDMR shareholdings, issue of equity and change to total voting rights
Franchise Brands (AIM: FRAN), a multi-brand franchise business, announces the following purchases of ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") by Directors.

These share purchases are in accordance with the matching terms of the Company's Share Option Schemes for management, details of which were announced on 16 September 2020. 38,095 new Ordinary Shares will be issued by the Company to satisfy part of the purchases mentioned above (at a price of 105p per share, being the closing share price on 24 September 2020), with the other shares acquired on market at 107p per share.
Application will made to the London Stock Exchange for the 38,095 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission of the 38,095 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM will become effective on or around 1 October 2020 ("Admission").
Total voting rights
On Admission, the issued share capital of the Company will consist of 95,758,470 Ordinary Shares, with one voting right per share, and no shares held in treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares and voting rights in the Company will, from Admission, be 95,758,470 and this figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
