Update on Offer Size relating to the Bonds

Terms used herein shall have the meaning given to them in the Prospectus (the "Prospectus") and the Final Terms (the "Final Terms"), each dated 24 January 2013, relating to the Bonds.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of the offer set out in the Prospectus and the Final Terms, the Offer Period relating to the Bonds is due to close at 12 noon (London time) on Friday 8 February 2013. EnQuest retains the right to close the offer early, in conjunction with the Lead Manager.

The aggregate nominal amount of the Bonds to be issued will be at least £100 million.

EnQuest is the largest UK independent producer of oil in the UK North Sea. EnQuest trades on both the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. It is a constituent of the FTSE 250 index.
