For immediate release 4 September 2006 Mondas plc ("Mondas" or the "Company") Holding in Company The Company has today been made aware that, as at 1 September 2006, AXAInvestment Managers UK Limited, held 3,890,913 Mondas ordinary shares,equivalent to 10.56 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.The Company has also been notified that the shareholding comprises a beneficialinterest of 42,000 ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.11 per cent. of the issuedshare capital of the Company, which is held by Sun Life Pensions ManagementLimited and a non-beneficial interest of 3,848,913 ordinary shares, equivalentto 10.45 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company, which is held byHSBC Global Custody Nominees (UK) Limited.ENDMONDAS PLC
