Commenting, Miguel Ramos Fuentenebro, GSO Capital Partners International LLP, the Investment Manager of Carador, said:
"The portfolio overall has performed strongly and we believe the Company is well positioned to take advantage of potential opportunities presented by the market. We believe that current market levels in the US loan market and CLOs backed by US loans present an opportunity for investors. Corporations are still holding record levels of cash on their balance sheets, 2Q 2011 earnings were in-line or exceeded expectations, Debt/EBIDTA levels are down considerably from 2008, projected default rates have not changed significantly, companies have refinanced near-term maturities and secured loans are oversold compared to unsecured high yield. Funding levels for CLOs are attractive particularly if investments are actively managed and monitored in order to extract maximum value."
