Senior Management update

Capital Drilling Limited (CAPD:LN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Parsons as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") with effect from 17 November 2014.

Mark joins Capital Drilling as Chief Executive Officer, bringing 36 years of experience in the minerals and oil and gas industries. Mark was previously at Australian listed Imdex Limited ("Imdex"), where he was Chief Executive of AMC Minerals, one of two major operating subsidiaries providing drilling fluids and advanced downhole survey instrumentation to the mining, oil and gas, water well, horizontal directional drilling and civil engineering industries worldwide.

Prior to working with Imdex, Mark was Vice President - Operations (Global Minerals Exploration) for BHP Billiton where he was responsible for the delivery of all global projects for greenfield mineral exploration. He was a member of the Minerals Exploration Executive Committee accountable for setting strategy & developing and delivering the Group's 2 and 5 year plans. Prior to BHP Billiton Mark served at Halliburton Company, the global provider of services and products in the energy industry, for over 30 years. He worked in a number of administrative and industry functions across numerous countries including Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. His skills include budget and cost management, balance sheet and asset utilisation, health and safety, acquisitions and disposals, with a core focus on customer relations.

Jamie Boyton, currently Interim CEO, will revert back to Executive Chairman from 17 November. He will maintain his day-to-day involvement in the running of the business for the necessary transition period following Mark's appointment, moving to the role of Non-Executive Chairman thereafter.
