AGM Statement
Brickability Group PLC (AIM: BRCK), a leading distributor and provider of specialist products and services to the UK construction industry, announces that, at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 12:00 pm today, John Richards, Chairman, will make the following statement.
"We are pleased to report that trading in the first five months of the current financial year ending 31 March 2026 has been in line with the Board's expectations. Notwithstanding the challenging market conditions, predominantly driven by a slow pace of recovery in housing starts and RMI together with the delays in approvals by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), the Board's expectations for adjusted EBITDA(*) for the full year remain unchanged.
"We remain confident in the Group's ability to deliver long-term shareholder value, with the business well positioned to benefit quickly as market demand incrementally improves towards more normalised levels.
"The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank all Brickability colleagues for their continued hard work. As ever, their drive and entrepreneurial spirit provides the Group with its competitiveness, adaptability and customer focus."
The Group will provide a first half trading update towards the end of October 2025.
(*)Adjusted EBITDA is defined as earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, amortisation and other items.
