Posting of Annual Report & Accounts and Notice of AGM
Benchmark (AIM: BMK), the aquaculture health, nutrition and genetics business, announces that further to the announcement made on 1 December 2020, its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 September 2020 and notice of the 2021 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and related form of proxy have been posted to shareholders today.
The AGM will be held on 9 February 2021 at 12.00 noon at the offices of Travers Smith LLP, 10 Snow Hill, London, EC1A 2AL.
In light of the UK Government's public health guidelines on COVID-19, and in the interests of the safety and wellbeing of our shareholders, the Board has taken the decision to hold the AGM as a closed meeting this year, with shareholders not permitted to attend in person.
The Board remains keen to maintain engagement with shareholders and, therefore, shareholders may submit questions on the business of the AGM by email to AGM@bmkholdings.com, so as to arrive by 12.00 noon on 7 February 2021.
The Company will continue to closely monitor the impact of COVID-19, including the latest Government guidance and restrictions, and how this may affect the arrangements for the AGM. If it becomes necessary or appropriate to revise the current arrangements for the AGM, further information will be made available on our investors' website at www.benchmarkplc.com, by RIS announcement and by any other means legally required at that time.
