Sirdar PLC21 February 2005 21 February 2005 Sirdar PLC ("Sirdar" or "the Group") The board of Sirdar announces that Mr Jim Gatherum has today stepped down fromhis positions as Managing Director of Ryalux Carpets Limited ("Ryalux") andWilliam Pownall & Sons Limited ("Pownall"), trading subsidiaries of its FloorCoverings Division based in Lancashire. Mr Gatherum wishes to spend more timewith his family in Scotland. With effect from 1st March 2005 Mr Kevin Henry, Group Finance Director andManaging Director of Sirdar Spinning Limited ("Spinning"), will relinquish hisposition with Spinning and assume responsibility for the day to day managementof Ryalux and Pownall. Also from that date Mr Russell Morris, currently Salesand Marketing Director of Spinning, will assume the position of ManagingDirector of that company.
