STATEMENT REGARDING BETTER CAPITAL
Further to the announcement made on 12 December 2013, the Board of Albemarle & Bond Holdings plc (the "Company") understands that Better Capital has withdrawn its interest in the Company's formal sales process as announced on 2 December 2013.
The Board confirms that the formal sales process is on-going and that it is continuing discussions with a number of interested parties.
This announcement is made with the consent of Better Capital.
