Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC01 December 2006 The following replaces the Holding in Company announcement released on 30November 2006 at 16:21 under RNS number 0288N. The number of Ordinary shares of4p each in the capital of the Company in which Mr Charles Lancaster Nicolson isinterested in was incorrect. Please see full amended announcement below: ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" Mr Nicolson's beneficial interest in the Company's shares remains unchanged at880,698 Ordinary shares of 4p each, which is equivalent to 1.89% of theCompany's issued share capital. Additionally, Mr Nicolson is a director of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited("the Trustee"), the Trustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers LimitedEmployee Benefit Trust which holds 262,250 Ordinary shares of 4p each in thecapital of the Company. Aggregating his personal holding and that of theTrustee, Mr Nicolson is considered to be interested in 1,142,948 Ordinary shares of 4p each, which is equivalent to 2.45% of the Company's issued share capital.
