Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC16 October 2007 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company hereby announces a transfer of shares was approved on 15 October2007 in respect of 2,000 Ordinary shares of 4p in the capital of the Companyheld by Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited ("the Trustee") as Trustee of theAlbemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust ("the ESOP"). Following the exercise of options by an employee of the Company ("the Employee")at an exercise price of 28.5p per share and the transfer approved pursuant tothe exercise of 2,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each held by the Trustee to theEmployee, the Trustee now holds 339,250 Ordinary shares in the capital of theCompany which is equivalent to 0.62% of the Company's issued share capital.
