Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC13 March 2007 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" Director Dealing The Company was notified today that Mr D A L Page, a director of the Company,exercised his option over 165,000 Ordinary shares of 4p each at a purchaseprice of 28.5p per share. Mr Page then sold 19,000 Ordinary shares at a sale price of 242p per share. Following the above transactions, Mr Page's interest in the share capital of the Company is now 718,352 Ordinary shares representing 1.53% of the Company's total issued share capital. Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited is the Trustee of the Albemarle & BondPawnbrokers Limited Employee Benefit Trust ("the EBT"). The EBT is interested in 393,250 ordinary shares representing 0.84% of the Company's total issued share capital. C L Nicolson, G V Nicholls, D A L Page and D P Pattinson are directors ofAlbemarle & Bond Trustee Limited. The Company announces that application has been made for 165,000 new Ordinary 4p shares to be admitted to listing pursuant to the exercise of share options under the unapproved share option scheme hereby announced. It is expected thatdealings will commence in the new Ordinary shares on 19 March 2007. Followingthe exercise of share options the issued share capital of the Company will beincreased from 46,908,056 Ordinary shares of 4p each to 47,073,056 Ordinaryshares of 4p each.
