UBC Media Group PLC28 July 2005 UBC Media Group plc29 July 2005 UBC Media Group plc AGM Statement At the Annual General Meeting of UBC Media Group plc to be held in London at11.00am today, the Chairman John Hodson will update his comments made in June onthe announcement of the company's preliminary results for the year ended 31March 2005, saying that: "The first quarter has seen revenue growth significantly ahead against the sameperiod last year across the Commissioned Programming, Syndicated Programming andRadio Services divisions. Since the start of the year we have seen advertisingrevenues increase 39% compared with the same period last year. The Board aresatisfied with the performance of the Company, which is in line withexpectations, and we believe the prospects for the year ahead are positive. As previously reported, it is the intention of Michael Peacock, formernon-executive chairman of the Company, to retire as a director of UBC MediaGroup plc at the conclusion of today's AGM.
