RE: What Amazes me17 Mar 2022 21:21
Sharebug.
Here is a repeat of my 18th Feb post. It might offer some consolation towards how you feel.
The below was intended to cover why NCM are playing hard ball, but it could just as well cover the so called shorting that appears to be a full blown contagion here if you believe some posters. Yes shorting exists but it exists nearly everywhere else in the markets too (and it is in all proportion). Both these 'issues' (NCM and shorting) are simply a part of the journey we are all on. Deep breath........no pain, no gain as they say:
Let's take a view from 'outside the box', one which is fact based, not conjecture.
Keep this in mind along the way and a lot of worry/concern will slip away hopefully:
PROVIDED each of us has time on our side, the following WILL happen....fact.
A maximum of 9 months from now, the DFS will have been written and published by NCM.
The DFS and all its data gathering, interpretations and detailed assessment of an economical recovery of millions of ounces of Gold (and additional Cu); the design of a bulk underground mine, it's manufacture and its processing, will all have been carried out by NCM, all of it at their expense.
NCM will have spent $128m modifying Telfer.
NCM will have spent $280m getting Hav ready for the starter mine.
NCM will write the DFS for one reason only - to persuade its shareholders that there is a 90% chance of making a small fortune @ Hav. They will ask for their approval to commence B.U.M. construction.
To get this approval, shareholders will want to know exactly what is down there. Consequently it will be public knowledge what the DFS shows. GGP will also know. We will know.
No amount of obfuscation, mirrors, delayed MREresults, assays - between now and then can change the inevitable. NCM will not mine this site unless it is a "gold mine" and that they are going to become very rich mining it!
One of two things will happen in December:
1. NCM will buy GGP@Hav out at the DFS rate.
or
2. NCM will take GGP mining in the knowledge that GGP are fully aware that they too, are going to be very very rich.
Bit like those long bicycle pumps. The exhaust end is the DFS. The handle end is now. Put your finger over the exhaust and push the handle down. The pressure (on NCM and JPM) is going to increase exponentially over time.
SD owns the pump!
