So next door to Alpala is Llurimagua mines part of ENAMI [Ecuadorian government]. 51% shareholder. They want to sell it orf!
They have hired an investment bank to value it. Estimations are around $600m. By comparison that makes Alpala valued at around twice that ($1.2Bn). Which ergo means the SP should be about 70p ish......

Allthatguff - you reminded me. It has been said before but probably not on this forum:
When everyone gets rich, they will need to find safe sanctuary for their dosh. As we all know the FSCS covers the 1st £85k/person if you are inside one of the 5 'big' banks in the UK (bearing in mind these big 5 own 95% of all the other banks...ish).
Now £85k will be short change for some on here, which means finding somewhere else to stick your spondoolies.
It has recently been flagged up that NSandI offer deposit accounts with mickey mouse interest(obviously) BUT a maximim of £2 million protected by the government, in the event of any default... So if you have a partner then that becomes £4m. Not bad eh for starters.
Problem then is....where to stuff the rest so HMRC can't get to it....heh.

WRT your last one about joining us again.....as has been commented on, it's decidedly dodgy sitting on the sidelines at the moment, wouldn't you agree? On the one hand the US elections could hammer the markets next week and drag Solg down with them to a lesser extent...on the other hand, NM could be releasing some significant news (even the PFS) which would support or even enhance the current SP. Decisions decisions.

Nick - if you read these forums, can I make one request of you and Elodie - please please can you pick the right moment to release any 'good news', such that it isn't completely drowned out by current affairs and or politics etc. If possible, watch for the rebound after the elections and then pile in with even more good news from Solg.....double whammy works wonders for the SP uplift.
