Hi Tymers. There are a number of 'silent' posters who listen acutely to other more viciferous posters which then guides their decision making, I believe. LTH's can often be a little harsh on newcomers (like we were once) but occasionally offer sound advice.
LL is different though.....he/she permeates the fabric of this forum, like a bad smell that doesn't go away. Carefully worded posts designed to negatively challenge their decisions.

I spent some time yesterday wading thru your history.
You delight in dissecting other posters views and opinions, usually in the negative. You brimmed with confidence throughout the SXX debacle urging others to ignore the warnings assuring them you knew what you were talking about, you watched the SP drop day after day, week after week. You sold half your major investment months after the SP was decimated. You then continued to ramp the stock all the way to the cliff edge and then went over that edge along with all those you had managed to convince, that you were talking sense.
You lost the lot LL...every penny...all from someone who appeared to understand the game.
You should be ashamed of yourself...
And then you went quiet...............while your wounds healed.

Dipsy2020. I roll the following out for newbie's to get to grips with this stock. I still consider doing your own research well in advance, to avoid asking questions like this, however.
You appear nervous having taken a hit so early on. 90% of those on here have taken that same hit at some stage or another but have hung in there because no stock goes up in a straight line!

C'mon shep, you honestly don't believe in that: All your eggs in one basket? We have been over this time and time again and as Strummerjones says, a mixed bag brings with it , its own advantages:
If GGP go down, your other stock might have gone up, which 'softens the blow' somewhat.
Another blinkerted view is the one where some think GGP is the holy grail of miners and nothing else compares. Solg is sitting on what could be the mine(s) of the century if even just a couple more of their tenemnets prove up to Tier 1 standard....let alone more of their other 14 venues waiting to be discovered. Hav is beautiful, scally hopefully too but one needs to spread the load just a little for the above reasons and no doubt numerous more. Blinkers off, I would suggest, eh?

As has been mentioned on other boards that are responding to this RNS, it's not so much the quality (it is really!) but it is also the quantity that matters. So a mediocre grade can be very economic if there is enough of it. So it got me thinking...here we have block caving @ Alpala and possibly Open Pit @ Porvenir. How big do these need to be to prove themselves viable?
One of the biggest Open Pits is in Utah, measuring approx 2Km in diameter! That is the size of a hole that Solg may be digging @ Porvenir (and it is straddling a national park, remember).
One of the biggest Block caves is El Teniente (Chile)...a blip on the surface but bl oody ginormous beneath the surface. Same stats as Alpala could be [2Bn tonnes Cu @ 0.86%].

Technically - from an outsider perspective, one could argue that GGP haven't proven up their findings yet, have they? No MMRE yet.
Yes I know we've come a long way since then....but this is how markets work.....you surely understand this by now - having thrown the kitchen sink at it! Takes all types I guess........

Miagi - I like that - thanks. Porvenir will be open pit and so the costs will be (a) cheaper and (b) income will happen sooner. So anything between 0.5 and 0.7% would appear attractive in this regard. And as has been explained all along - the hope is that the next drill rig arriving @ porvenir ( rig 3) is drilling specifically to detect the core. Rig 4 I believe to delineate the easterly boundaries.
It's whether the markets see it this way or have simply taken the RNS on face value, I guess.

I guess the market thinks the results are....um...OK. Hence the SP.
If I could come up with two reasons for this (the SP languishing):
1. Comparing the current assays with the copper equivalent found in the MRE3. Solg describe their benchmarking for their MRE3 thus:
"... Low grade - where CuEq exceeds 0.15% and B vein intensity exceeds 0.55%;
Medium grade - where CuEq grade exceeds 0.7% CuEq and B vein intensity exceeds 4.1% and;
High grade - where CuEq grade exceeds 1.5% CuEq and B vein intensity exceeds 9.4%..."
2. The RNS has dropped amidst turbulence in the market place. MM's have plenty of fish to fry currently and this RNS might not get the attention it requires perhaps?

IMO: a mediocre RNS, resulting in a luke warm SP going fwd.
