You're brave....................and loaded too Spy, to sink £200k into them thar welsh hills. My mum's from that area and her wedding ring is welsh gold. I noticed a few years back that clogau gold is no longer sold pure. It is too rare, so is mixed with 'normal' gold to make sure there is enough to go around. As the guy from Alba said, they will control the supply when/if the time comes to produce the stuff. He also said it will be sold at a premium of 3 to 5 times normal gold prices..WTF??? But (a) they are atleast a year away from making that decision and then another year+ to production and even then it won't be that much (A maximum of 100k tonnes has only ever been produced over the last 150yrs.
Nice little punt for the patriots I guess, if one has some spare spondoolies. Enjoy :)
