PDH-002-20
NM has stated that this 75 degree incline was NOT designed to intercept or detect the 'core'. We all need to understand and accept this when the results update is out soon. Consequently it could be a dampner for some onlookers.
The 6 rigs re-positioning @ Porvenir will be placed strategically, based on PDH-002. I think (and geologists please correct me here) NM is delineating the outer boundarys of the "motherlode" so that the new rigs are best placed.
When the assay results are publicised, I think PDH-001-20 will forever be recognised as putting Solg well and truly on the mining map (globally).
IF there are any geologists out there (and I hope we don't have any environmentalists amongst us!), could you enlighten me as to what type of mining techniques may be used @ Porvenir considering that the tenement astraddles a National Park (even though we have all the approvals to explore)?
Is it as simple as Block Cave or Open Pit?

Morning all, morning smallacorns...wrt NCM buying out CGP...I believe it has been covered before but to do that I would assume the bidder is going after the 7% ownership of Solg PLUS the 15% of ensa, yes?
However, the cost could be as much as: $450+Mn for production costs towards Alpala + $80Million debt that CGP carry currently + a bid of atleast $300Million for the company takeover, giving a grand total of around $800Mn+. Is that a cost effective acquisition I wonder for the prize?

Dj: The reason for the delays is that the core sampling company are inundated by the burdgeoning number of developers in that area wanting rock samples analysing. There is a back log apparently. You know the drill (get it?)

I'm going out on a limb here - I now think this is too big to bid - as a whole, way too big. How much could this entire list of possible Tier 1's, be worth? $100+Bn?
If Porvenir, then La Hueca, then Rio then................... firm up - who on this planet can afford it?
It has to be a JV or multiples thereoff.

I like to KI$$ [keep it simple stupid]. I just want NM to sell Cascabel for between £1 and £2 / share. And with the cash, JV with a major(s) and move onto the rest.

A short while ago, I mentioned that NM's presentation @ diggers - was essential viewing.
Excuse the pun, but there are mouth watering nuggest of information embedded in his presentation.

Now this RedCloud presentation (which no-one seems to have picked up on?).

I quoted NM regarding Porvenir and him saying it would go down in history........................and now we know why:
Take a look @ page 3 of the redcloud presentation. On the rhs of the page is a picture of a sample of what they have found in PDH-20-001 between just 50 FEET below the surface all the way down - to wait for it...............nearly 0.4 of a MILE DEEP!!! 6% chalcopyrite. FFS!

This suddenly makes Alpala look like a side show.

And then, another nugget...............

When will the world wake up to this?
How does NM sleep at night?
When does the PFS arrive?

In this (his latest "live" virtual interview) video, NM is the most alive and enthusiastic I have heard him for yonks! Towards the end, the presenter evn has to chase him to wrap it up!

In it he covers all the salient points, he covers CGP and he covers fwd finances. He comes across as....calm and collected. The mood of the presentation tells me that he is comfortable with the following:
The EGM threat.
any lurking Imminent bids (increasing his NED's and BoD's).
Rapid and massive expansion of exploration in atleast 4 other concessions and their associated costs.
The continuous strap line about "going it alone".
CGP.
Debt Funding for construction.

This video makes me feel comfident with where we are currently....very much so.

From this video, I take away:
Alpala is done and dusted. No more guess work, just the first of some regulatory FS's (PFS/FS/DFS), the money will be there for him if he does go it alone. If he JV's it will be even easier - listen to this: [minute: 23:10....re, NCM.....is this a hint he just dropped???]

Porvenir has taken his team by surprise. They were pleasantly shocked by what they saw coming out of PDH-001. As he says in this vid: "Porvenir will go down in history as one of Solg's greatest moments"! [Minute 26:08]..

The Porvenir results will launch the SP into the 40's (for the 6th time!), hopefully for the last time too......after this, we should get a stream of news propelling the SP onwards and upwards.

TheIce - CGP continue to operate in a shroud of murkiness. Whatever is going on, I for one would be relieved to see the back end of them after a takeover by whoever! Atleast we have a fresh partner and a fresh way of doing things.
BKn - I rarely agree with you but on this occasion, I do 100%. On GGP, it is far far worse...the weekend is full of complete and utter dross by newbie's. ANY negativity is akin to defiling the queen.

Both Jason and Nick M hinted that Porvenir might be open pit because of the proximity to the surface of the mineralisation.
Porvenir straddles a national park - permits have been approved. Tick.
Only one slight problem. Is the government going to allow this sort of "carnage" (and I can't think of a better word for it to describe these mines) on their land:
