RE: "I am thinking buying some Antipa shares."6 Nov 2020 17:19
DjfWatty - trading Antipa on ii is easy. £19 to trade on the ASX, plus £7 for ii commission.
Going back to the overspill issue (as quite a few have commented), one has to be carteful commenting on here in that anything that 'appears' to be anti GGP - is frowned upon, which to me suggests lots of jittery PI's. LTH's couldn't care less, nor could those who have already made a lot from its meteoric rise. I am both, which is why I should have been more circumspect, I guess.
GGP for all the reasons everyone is bleating on about - is a solid, cast iron, unique, once in a life time (have I missed any strap lines?) opportunity (there - all the teitchers happy now?).
One could quite happily 'feed' off the proceeds of GGP for an eternity I guess. [Unless of course they get bought out].
This is the circumspect bit - with the profits one has made already from GGP (and you don't need much to play this game), why not have a flutter on other local similar punts, IE: Antipa and or Artemis etc etc. A zillion shares cost 3s and 6d! And if they go bang in the night and the earth swallows them up.....by the time you know about it, you would have already covered your losses because of the rise in GGP shares. However, in these very early days of discovery where every man and his dog is digging in the Paterson area - there is every chance you could 'bag' a winner either because they strike lucky or because the market go into overdrive with the SP for absolutely no apparent reason (Thor/OMI/etc). Have a little play on the side while watching the main show - that's all I am saying.
And hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come alleluhah GGP (and some hail mary's for the nervous GGP investors).
