As mentioned many times on here the low SP in recent weeks is due to 1 factor alone and that is a volume seller. We have no way of knowing when this will end but it will at some point and a more balance market in Bushy shares will then ensue. Recent market movements have been distorted and are not reflecting the fundamental value in the company.

Another possible factor in the timing of the JSE listing is that it will be post-election and also Eskom tenders will be submitted and there may be more clarity on outcome re BE by late Summer. Q3 rather than July I'd imagine.

Great intro and appetite whetted for part 2 to come. It's good to see some current pics of the site and see some of the key managers. Must have been a fantastic trip. You certainly kept that quiet!

Looks like an effort to push the sp down this morning? 2x buys and 2x sells of 150k - maybe one is a bed and ISA? - alongside 100k shares currently offered at 35.65p and the sp is falling rather than standing still. Perhaps some short-term volatility to come following the CGP RNS?

Cornerstone news release - 'SolGold makes other statements in their press release which Cornerstone disagrees with.' That's not exactly shutting the door is it, given the more direct comments Nick made about CGP. The colour of anyone's money is good enough I think for CGP. Maybe the SOLG RNS was partly about getting the company back in the limelight prior to further moves/announcements? Create some frisson of excitement?

148k buy just showing late as usual. Anyone wanting to top up - now is the time. We can't forget that more news on Lemur and BE as well as JSE listing is imminent. Given the mining conferences next week in SA this is an ideal time to get a positive RNS out to the market.

I am all for balanced debate on the board but those just deramping in order to short the share - you are not welcome!

addicknt I agree with your sentiment. Nick knows that CGP won't vote for their own abolition. So why has he done this? It's a win-win for him and SOLG. Any 3rd major as far as I can see must take out CGP - the rest of the share register is so restricted by Nick's clever positioning. This will flush out a 3rd major if there is one. If there isn't, he may still go down the takeover route but it may be a bunfight. I also suspect Hannam have had a hand in this. Those 2 together are formidable from what I've seen of them individually. Not sure about the PEA being delayed 5 months - don't see how this is possible if it is ready before then. We could get the PEA out now and within a week or 2 that could precipitate interest in CGP/SOLG. Nick has laid out a timeline for 3rd major involvement and the clock is ticking. A couple of resource/exploration updates would keep this on the boil over the next few weeks. Overall this is good for shareholders Including Nick!).

Daisan Good call. Posted too quickly on my part. However if you look at the PE it is well below the JSE average which recently was around 17-18 and also way below the norm for a company growing at the rate that BMN is. We are still looking at SP Angel target in the near future which is more than double the current SP.

What we and the market are not factoring in is Bushveld Energy story and VRFB's. I am anticipating positive news shortly given the closeness of the Eskom tender process and Conference season next week. The scale of opportunity here will put the slight dip in Q4 figures into the shade. I'll allow others to calculate the PE more accurately than I can!

Div announcement due in Q1 by end March so not overdue.

Good to finally get 1 of the RNS we have all been expecting. For me the news is all positive in the medium-term although with some disappointment in the short-term production figures for Q4. Fortune said he would focus on lifting production and driving costs down and that is clearly where the focus has been. There are strong results on the cost side although production in Q4 is down due to maintenance. I expect we will be able to work out the days lost in Q4 with a bit of analysis as the day goes on.

Very good news on the review which states that sustainable production of 3400mtV can be achieved with no additional capital cost. In addition there is strong news on exploration at Brits which is 'above/in line with expectations'. Employee alignment with company success has been achieved - another positive compared to 6 months ago - good progress.

Overall Q4 figures are below expectations and this has likely led to the company being conservative in saying that 2019 will exceed 2018 output. It should achieve this by quite some margin. Building stocks need not cost the company profit as it is expected that V prices will rise following the Chinese New Year.

Overall we have £82m profit on a market cap of £450m which gives a PE ration of 5.5 - way below other AIM companies and with our growth profile - an increase from 2560mtV to closer to 3400mtV in 2019 this remains the best value proposition that I am aware of.

100k offer on the auction again - as per Friday.

I wonder if the MM who has the shares to sell is now using the auction to push a few more through? Looks like the selling pressure is increasing just a little, not a lot.

Alfa Just watched the 1400 auction and another 100k bought and sold. Is this the MM trying to speed up the large seller's instructions to sell? Good to see a big buy soaking up the offer.

roscon You can watch the auction moves on L2 if you have it. I'm not sure there is any other way to see it?

I've seen this kind of stuff in my day job. It's just thousands or even millions of pages of text - incomprehensible to anyone - how can that be an issue? It must be something else? Have the trolls got a mole in LSE?

Sanchez599 I can't believe that one of the most beneficial sites for any investor on any share is being blocked? Can LSE do that? There is nothing on The Bushveld Perspective or in Alfa's extensive work to keep investors informed that could possibly upset anyone. TBP is a great source of facts about Bushveld many of which you just can't get anywhere.

I have never submitted a complaint to LSE about anything before but this is just not acceptable. Why use this LSE site if you can't access factual information?

Can you help me out with any advice on making a complaint? Is there a generic email address? Excuse my lack of knowledge on this.

A reassuring update that all that the BoD said would happen in Q1 is happening and results are in line with expectations. Discussions are ongoing and more udpates to follow. This should give confidence to investors.

Is it just me or did I miss Alfa's trade analysis today? Seemed to me that the sp dropped too easily early on and then rose too easily later. Unusual bid/offer spread at one point today where we have 5 on the bid at 38 and 5 on the offer at 40 - almost co-ordinated? Would be good to get Alfa's views on this. I find the trade analysis one of the high points of the day and it makes LSE share chat much better than other BB's such as advfn. Of course other great posts today from BBN and too many other posters to mention. This BB is like an extended family with its incomparable quality - the best on LSE (even including the occasional argument with the odd black sheep of the family). Let's hope it continues to grow and thrive.
