pdub: not sure what your point is . I am a share holder here (with an avg of 7p) and would like to see it rise. Iif Vanadium rises and all other things being equal, it should follow suit. It may lag by few days ( I assume you are familiar with statistical noise), perhaps there are other uncertainties that need to be cleared up

alfacomp: it does track the SP . There are other corporate actions that affect the SP like purchase of Vametco. Thats also pretty obvious. If BMN gets new mining licences or proves up more Vanadium reserves the SP will be affected

And yeah China does consume the most Vanadium because it its the worlds largest steel producer by far. The difference between No 1 and No 2 is simply incredible. 1)China : 900 million tonnes a year, 2) India 106 million tonnes 3) Japan 104 million tonnes

Obviously not all of that is a Vanadium alloy, but small percentage will still be a huge number

you are right but that is being charitable. They put up the base structure in a few days and on the 16 of April they tweeted a pic of the mast structure hanging from a crane. The implication was it would be assembled in a few days. It looks like they are sort of hanging there

JSB is right . When you've assembled the structure once the second time should be far more efficient

Its not to say I dont like VRFBs. But we still have long years of testing, proving and systems integration and how to make best use of them. It needs somebody with heft to get behind them possibly like the Chinese.. Its not going to be the South African government / ESKOM . ESKOM will run pilot projects for ever

I agree - yes they add value to Vanadium but they still are a vertically integrated miner. They have their own processes but the output of the processing plant is still dependant on amount of ore mined. Most miners do some beneficiation and BMN has added a lot of value. To compare it to a iron ore miner is a strawman argument. I do appreciate the Vametco purchase becasue setting up processing plants is a lengthy process

My point about BE not saving the world is that BE will struggle to add anything to the share price.

Ninvestor. Excellent points and very realistic. BMN is not going to save the world via BE - its a mining company. The problem with mining companies is approvals / various processes that take longer than expected.

You are overthinking this reso. A buyout of AST Slovenia is a good thing

the company structure was setup when they had a number of assets in different countrys. None of the other assets were very spectacular so its best if AST calls it a day

reso: thats correct that a buyout wouldn't necessarily be distributed to shareholders. All it would means is the parent money would receive a sum of cash that can be spent more productively on buying other assets

On the other hand the BOD isn't that great at identifying good oil and gas assets so perhaps they might call it a day
