yes this is a Vanadium play. Fortune got caught out be in the fall in Vanadium prices like most people. Even industry experts were caught and the prices should rise. Its pointless holding him to the dividend policy. It will be delayed. Aren't we all adults here

BE's time will come but not yet. There has to be an industrial and money making ecosystem with large scale VRFB. The fate of RedT is as important as BE and right now it looks bad for RedT.

This project even describes itself as 'Battery Storage Demonstration Program'. A technology demonstrator project especially one as disruptive as this has many goals:

- demonstrate the tech to policy makers becasue they need concrete examples, if they are sensible
- develop skills and procedures
- work out how to integrate it within a large scale grid and how to scale it up

This project talks about replacing coal power plants. That is an enormous leap considering the poor project management exhibited by ESKOM. I would like to see more about the mechanisms for achieveing this - the managerial and policy changes etc. BMN is struggling with new mining licences

Seems to me the Ronge VRFB project has the scale and ambition. It may be delayed but who knows. One for sure spikes in Vanadium prices will spook people planning these projects. They dont want to be priced out

I have done no analysis - I was just reading the RNS. If thats case with the coal dust, it would be possible to disconnect from the national grid.

I though it would be a better selling point
