The delay might be so they can present two sets of results. One with all the product areas as normal and one for what the results would be when they remove some elements to show it better with whatever is holding it back gone. Like they did dumping the German side. Whatever is left will be lower revenue but better margin - they will suggest or show in the results. I can't help but think they will jettison something to help make the picture improve. Whatever it is left will probably take years to get to a sensible scale worth someone acquiring and might need more cash still to get it off the ground, share offering, even at this low price.

The more I look into it and the wording the more it looks like a partial sale is likely and rolling up cash into new products for what is left-over. The conspiracy part of me wonders if the bid approach rumour was to try to get the price up so they could do an offer to raise the cash, it didn't work, so they have to follow through with a downsize to get money in??

It's all very strange. That rumour wasn't even noise. Who reads that source so why so much oo-ha afterwards?

There is a real chance it could backfire. Getting clever is selling part off and then raising more debt to fund new products for the runt left over with the funds raised. Adding new products was mentioned in the January 2025 release. They'll need cash to do that. It will also take years to show through.

TRX needs investment to scale. Have run some basic research and the highest valuation is if they spin-off separate divisions but each has elements of high risk that an acquirer would allow for in the offer price. Market left with a runt with the best bits gone unless they manage sell off all the divisions at the same time.

AIM rules say they have to report by end of the 6 month after the financial year end that takes it to June 30th . Normally reporting around now and I don's get why results should be delayed by the review when all it does is increase uncertainty. Perhaps they've given up. Don't see anything good resulting from the delay. Makes me think they are a bit desperate. Scrambling around for an exit.

The large holders can afford to write this off It's a micro holding for most of them. Just because they haven't sold says nothing, they are on a different playing field to retail and their rules are different.

Price is telling you everything. The whole bid approach narrative was and is not much to hang a higher price on. Down, down, down.

It does read as a smokescreen. They'll do anything to admit no one is interested and it's a dead end. The whole bid approach rumour was based on one bit of very convenient information published in a source no one reads and the market has seen through it. No excuse to delay results, if there was anyone interested they would have had to have the results ready anyway to show them.

Always suspicious when a low value trade from earlier in the day is painted as the last trade and coincidentally just happens to show the price up for the day, and a close on a Friday. True last trade looks down until an early trade reported late at much lower value. Not bottomed yet. Some still want out. Will we get a wash-out next week or 2?

Not even the hardened believers are buying. It's really only fit to be sold to a larger entity and the price won't blow anyones socks off. Anyone playing hardball with them will win, they don't have many cards to play. Get real, it's looking more and more like a dead-end.

I bet the excuses would fill a book. Be surprised to see this remain as a unified group of companies and to see the executive management survive intact.
