Re: Slipershare's post. Some companies have many so called directors or even presidents on their company's hierarchy but not necessary be heavy weight responsibilities of the board as such. For e.g.. my nephew when he was with UBS bank his title was Vice-President but he wasn't on the actual BOD himself. Understand too that there're many of the staff holding same title as Vice- President and directors too who are just working employees for that job e.g.. Marketing Director but not on actual board of pay.

Today's AGM adjourned to 31 Oct. so as to allow others not in person at meeting to vote through nominee accounts/proxy for the latest addition director (re: yesterday RNS). Adam confirmed BigSofa accounts is now filed with Companies House - so take a look (reason for delay: new MD and wife had new baby a couple days after joining and gone on paternity leave). AR's view on BigSofa is very positive and future is promising. As some here wondered why they need loan from NEW before the RTO? - Ans: They need more finance atm due to big expansion in US and here as they're still a growing co. in infant/toddler stage and need to build strong base/foundation. They've been genuinely winning big contracts. Some people may have had been burnt by tech. companies before but this is not the typical tech. co. and due to the nature of tech. business many may not appreciate the business yet. But after spoken to a couple shareholders (who with another hold approx. 6% of NEW shares) had researched into BigSofa and also spoken to the CEO, Simon and got a positive feeling that the business will do very well given a year or 2 to develop. Understand the concept of the BigSofa's business and talking to AR months before & some big shareholders, IMHO, I can fully trust AR on this dealing so hope this RTO will be smooth sailing to a promising future for all of us. But please do your own unbias research. AR did say also there'll be more info. and news will be released on net. (So far is a private co. and not necessary for them to release news etc..)

isas, I agree with you on why the new BOD should be more full on and check before. Seems to me a typical common culture these days similar to people voting for Brexit. If not voting NL in then wonder who else can be on the BOD with AR as we can't just AR there?

Cash, it wasn't a delay as such. Old BOD told new BOD that company general meetings cannot be held elsewhere except Jersey. But thanks to N. Lee who spotted something in the Article of A. and checked with company solicitor who confirms it can be held anywhere and this has been done to benefit most shareholders and a new beginning. So let's hope we will see more positive going forward future in the new business.

Before suspended 4 different bought around half million shares each @5.88 on16/2/2016. Hence today's sp looks like a good bargain. Last accounts @31/12/2014 showed Net Assets US$54.34m. Net Asset Value per Share 0.15cents. Any opinion, guys? Are they coming out with some plans?

We all know China is good copy cats and can make anything from looking at another product. As these products are going to be manufactured in China (and even if they are not) i"m concerned that the Chinese may copy and manufacture and market for themselves before CPT get patent (understand the patent for Europe is not ready till early 2017). Worse scenario China may get patent themselves or modify to make similar products. Hope Adam R. monitors this closely. This had happened before. In the mid 80's/early 90's China was still not technological inclined. The Singapore govt. investment arm had a JV with them and set up manufacturing plant and plans were to market as a JV. The Singapore side will provide the tech. knowhow and resources and China to provide the manpower as labour was cheap then. Once the Chinese learnt the tech. knowhow, they set up their own manufacturing and did the business themselves. Worse was, that new manufacturing plant was not far away from the JV. Don't believe this, you can dyor. Tamasek Holdings is investment arm with Singapore govt. participation.

You seems to be very familiar with some companies' RTO business and BigSofa too. If you don't mind could I ask if you do hold shares in NEW? (If you don't wish to declare here, I understand too and please pardon me for asking). Just for interest, I've a substantial holding here and was with the action group that won the objective. As there were some controversy posts on BigSofa by others, same time I did some research and did wonder where this RTO is going to take NEW to. So reading your posts I find them valuable and reassuring. If you have more info. on this take am sure many here will be very appreciative that you can share with us. Thank you.
