First-time posters who turn up with a blatant agenda, to my mind, are either previous banned posters, or needy narcissists with nothing better to do.

Agreed. What is funny is the SP resilience around 7.90 (coincidentally near the Gladstone short figure. What a surprise!) They've already thrown the kitchen sink at this company and I'm afraid there are STILL far too many investors who can see through their guff, to a mouthwatering substantial short / medium term profit.

Onward and upward in "very" due course IMHO!

Negative news flow is getting thin and very VERY desperate... Gladstone need to exit... got to buy back in at some time and this afternoon seems likely to me...
Still criminally undervalued and well overdue a re-rate. Good news RNS should be a last nail in the coffin for the shorters who are clearly running short of ideas... I mean, that FT article! Really!!!!!!!!!

Whilst that's perfectly true Charlie... given ANGS reputation and lack of "any" worthwhile income, I very much doubt that the OGA are going to pat them on the back and let them use that money to pay for wage bills and investment in other jam tomorrow prospects do you?

If ANGS want planning granted for Saltfleetby, then 2.5 million and more WILL be ring-fenced without a shadow of a doubt... which means... drum roll please... they will be coming back to dilute shareholders with ANOTHER placing anytime soon :-(

IMHO: the companies who own / operate those North Sea Rigs are usually far better capitalised and have plenty of financial muscle... unlike ANGS.
I believe ring-fencing in this context is as a result of the strong possibility of ANGS defaulting on those responsibilities if they were ever to go into liquidation, therefore escrow or similar is highly likely as a safeguard.

12th June: Lucky Lucan quoted: "the Company's cash resources were presently sufficient to meet all reasonable liabilities in the forthcoming MONTHS."

Bearing in mind the Saltfleetby money is ring-fenced (i.e: set aside for decommissioning should this be required - circa 3 million!) Months... means year end IMHO.

Probably another raise much sooner - given the BOD's appetite for large salaries... failing to re-pay their own loans and inability to spend money on ANYTHING that adds shareholder value.

Don't be fooled into thinking anything has changed here since Lucky Lucan took over (apart from a further 90% drop in SP value of course) as Tideswell is still pulling the company purse strings IMHO.

The value of this company "is a joke" as you rightly say, BUT for one very good reason:Management in charge here ARE a joke!

The SP has been slaughtered through their own willful incompetence. Here are just a few recent examples:

1) Dodgy loan never repaid by Tideswell!
2) Dodgy share trading (shorting) by Tidswell despite denying it!
3) A share value destroying boardroom coup (by Tideswell) just when shareholders were expecting news "at last" from Brockham!
4) Told to expect a testing phase at Brockham when we later learn that the Oil & Gas authority had NEVER even granted permission.
5) Late notification of no test followed by the announcement of a rushed garage sale of the "star" Brockham asset!

I could name many many many more!

If any of the above sound like the business decisions of a fully functioning, professional, trustworthy company in which to invest YET MORE MONEY, then HONESTLY you deserve to lose everything IMHO.

The reason the SP has dive-bombed has nothing to do with upset employees or even shorters... and everything to do with the fact that this company is quite simply:

UNINVESTABLE.

Don't like feeding the trolls with their chosen headings... so let's get back to facts:

Burford are a litigation firm and handle law suits day in day out. In the "unlikely" event this ever gets to court... I give it scant chance of success.
Back in the real world BUR is pursuing a claim against MW and "that one" will IMHO be very enlightening in the fullness of time.

I've lost a lot of money here like most YinYang...
I predicted 1p a while back (taken longer to get there than I thought) but I certainly don't intend to buy back in and waste any more. If there are traders in our midst, I think they would have sold out by now like Will... and be watching from the sidelines to see if Lucan can offer any GOOD reason to ever invest here again?

Call me cynical...

But it does make me wonder if Lucan and Tideswell's plan - all along - was to run this company into the ground before scooping up the assets privately - and on the cheap?
