They haven't had to put up other PGs so far, that's the point. A key customer has foregone the PGs and perhaps others will follow. If that happens the chances of a D4E reduce. Surely you'd agree with that?

I'm not saying that a D4E won't happen but simply that last weeks RNS reduces the chances of that happening especially if other customers follow suit.

I understand but surely if other customers begin to forego their PGs such as the one Key customer who already has that negates some of the reason for a D4E.

I don't think anyone is disputing that PFC is in a precarious state however after reading page 152 last weeks RNS is beginning to look even more positive. If $400M worth of PGs is required and if a Key customer has foregone this requirement to be posted before work begins on the contract that is a huge positive. It's purely conjecture as yet but if an important customer has foregone this requirement then perhaps other customers will follow suit.

... but clearly the market requires further assurances. Hopefully another positive RNS eith respect to PGs with other key customers and we should see an upward trajectory to the SP.

Thanks Paul. Both sides of the argument have validity but the RNS clearly stated a D4E is one of the options available to PFC but that all options were being considered. Last weeks RNS was certainly good news. Especially if the 'Key' client was Tennetbut clearly themarket

We'll find out today if it was a short closing but I'd be surprised if the entire rise on Friday was due to one short closing.

This is the name that went through my mind reading yesterdays RNS though I'm hoping it's Tennet as they have the bigger contract.

MCAP around 4pm was 67M and by COP was over 116M

And MCAP soared by 51M in the last 30 minutes of trading.

To be fair to Whitebox they've been reducing for weeks and this reduction was from yesterday.
