Evanescent, to be fair Nhill raises some pertinent points. Let's hope he's wrong and a takeover materialises but there's no harm in reading opposing opinions.

A lot of people getting excited which is understandable but let's wait for some concrete news. Been here a few times with PFC especially over the last few months.

I'm heavily invested in this with an average price of 45p but not buying anymore until we get some concrete news. Been here lots of times over the last 16 months...

I think talk of a takeover is wishful thinking. Best case in all probability is a painful D4E. Would love to be proved wrong.

I think it was the last RNS that stated their winding up the legacy loss making contracts and also looking at getting compensation for the disastrous Thai clean energy contract so going forward there is reason for a little optimism.

I think £1.50 is optimistic. I'm a LTH and can't see anyone offering more than about £0.60 per share sadly. That's if there is anyone out there willing to takeover a company in such a mess.

Needless to say this is a long term play as long as they survive. The question is will they survive?

I think unless we hear otherwise a D4E is a shoe in and has been since that fateful RNS in April. It's the survival of the company that holders are hoping for now. If we survive I'll be relieved and will hold for years if necessary.

If they can survive this mess then I think LTHs like me who are still holding will be relieved. Most of us who have held this long can probably afford to hold for another few years. Survival at this stage is therefore key irrespective of a damaging D4E.
