Calm down guys, been here a number of times last couple of years and nothing came to fruition. Still holding and would love nothing more than a take over bid but let's see what if any news brings.

I'm only repeating what someone who has worked for PFC for a very long time has said. As far as day to day work is concerned nothing has changed it is business as usual. How long that remains is clearly up in the air. I'm fearing the worst. The RNS has all but told us this but as long as the company survives I can wait for a few years and perhaps even average down.

@myteethitch, if I remember the sp had fallen from £6+ to £4.30 in the space of a month from Feb to March 2020. There hadn't been a dilution during this time. That came later. The fair value price is taking in to account investor sentiment after covid, geo political tensions, energy prices etc. Would love to be proven wrong but unlikely to see £6+ for a while.

No idea Jlbmth, if I had to guess probably early next year. Earlier if a dividend is announced.

SP was approximately £4.20 just before the covid crash. Circa 25% new shares added during the RI which diluted the price (all things being equal) to £3.15. However, debt consideration and lack of dividend means SP further weakened but offset by higher fares and stronger outlook so looking at fair value of £2.70.

£2.30 is a very realistic price target in the next few months. If dividends are announced next year then around£2.80 but £6 is pushing it.

Same thing happend after the FY results. If projected earnings continue without any nasty surprises the share price can easily climb to £3 this time next year. Patience required.

If we get a date for the reinstatement of a dividend this is heading to at least £2.80 by the end of the year.

I'd be happy if we just survived and were in profit by 2026!!

George, its a massive shame the Malaysian asset sale hasn't been completed yet. If the figures PFC would receive for those assets are correct a D4E perhaps wouldn't be on the cards.

The article doesn't mention anything new. Talks about how the legacy contracts are mainly to blame for PFCs woes and that a non core asset sale is on the cards. As has been reported they're looking at flogging the Malaysian assets. Also talks about the D4E and the $300 million injection. Nothing else.
