I’m still curious about why Citadel increased their stake in February and reduced their short last week….

Ken Griffin is not known for losing money.

I’m also intrigued as to how BOO attracted a respected NED like a John Goold….and whether BOO will become the second Kelso investment after THG.

Probably nothing…but he’s commented on the post from Vivek…in the past tense, saying “It’s been great working with you”.

There was a reference to them still pursuing the Premium listing in the Chairman’s statement of the annual report

ADM are a major supplier of ingredients to the food industry too and I wouldn’t be surprised if they supply THG nutrition.

According to Instagram, MM has been preoccupied with birthday parties this weekend.

I feel like the “hot money” may move to ASOS today to try and make a quick buck, so we may see an initial drop IMHO

I feel there’s a chance that MM and Kelso know each other, but granted the only link I have is Ian McDonald being on the THG and Boohoo Boards and John Goold (Kelso) joining Boohoo as NED.

But saying that, as Ian is not up for reelection (I don’t think) at Boohoo, maybe if there is a link, it’s not a friendly one.

All speculation.

Oke, this outcome relates to my previous thoughts about this being the optimum time to release value from nutrition …and the “reasons to believe” challenge I have with Kelso.

They state:

“There may be instances where Kelso itself could be used as a vehicle by an undervalued company to spin off a subsidiary into its own listing. Such a transaction would undoubtedly constitute a reverse takeover for Kelso”.

Could Kelso be part of the Plan B?

Have they not bought up the shares that the shorters have sold? If so it’s a shrewd move to buy that many shares to hold and prevent the shorters being able to buy them back…..

As John Goold is a new NED at Boohoo, I’m watching with interest to see if that will be their next investment.

I also notice that Ian McDonald doesn’t appear in the list of Directors for re-election at the Boohoo AGM, the day after THG…and yet he’s standing again here. Wonder why…..

Yes, I have seen the people behind Kelso…and maybe that’s why I expected a more professional presentation.

I’m not saying I’m not impressed with them, or what they say….I’m just saying that I believe there’s more to it than we are seeing, but as I said, I may be wrong.

OSG, I absolutely agree with you that Kelso have had a positive influence, especially with supporting the under valuation story.

I’m just not convinced about their “reasons to believe”.

I’m probably alone, but I just don’t feel like Kelso is not what it says it is.

The presentation wasn’t even spell checked before publishing and looks like something an admin threw together due to an impending deadline.

It feels like a shell for making money for the founders…..or a vehicle to be used for other purposes to me.

Even if they invested the whole of the new placing in THG, they still wouldn’t get to 1%.

I’m probably wrong, but the Kelso spin just doesn’t sit right….
