I have a feeling that something must be close and that it involves Iain McDonald of Belerion…as he’s had 3 days to comment on MMs recent LinkedIn post and so far, he hasn’t even liked it.
A big change in behaviour to the normal drum beating McDonald we are used to….

Leahy is more linked with Morrisons these days than Tesco. He advised on the Clayton Dubliner & Rice buyout and this suggests he may now be Chairman:

Morrisons is then associated more with Amazon, which would then bring relevance to THGs global service.

Personally, I don’t see the likes of Tesco being interested. They tried and failed in the USA, so unless they want another crack of the whip….

Agree on GBP pound. But talk of a potential US recession and aligned weakening dollar still make now the time to strike in my opinion….

I think the article is poorly written…it refers to “the THG”; seems rushed…and if you reread it, I believe the comment about Apollo bidding much less, relates to the previous paragraph that talks about the float price.
