George Osborne is the Chairman of Lingotto and their first purchase is the reason I became interested. They stayed invested when the share price rose last time and now have added lower. They see something others don’t in my opinion.

Good luck with whatever you do. I won’t be partaking in any form of action, as I’m confident in the quality of the business’s involved in the process and don’t believe therefore that any challenges would not be able to be rebutted.

I will be concentrating on my THG investment now, as the Ingenuity shares are in a box and will no doubt be worthless in time, probably via dilution.

Ultimately, my RemainCo shares are all that matters now.

I believe the demerger was as fair to all as it could be. Everyone had options. Therefore I think any suggestion of manipulation, is flawed. Just my opinion. I stayed with Ingen, taking my allocation only, but have mentally written it off.

If the question is about Ingenuity being stolen, which is pointless now, for anyone holding shares during the demerger process, so was eligible to take up the offer, nothing was stolen in my opinion. We even had time to move funds/shares to brokers able to facilitate staying in, if it was a challenge.

No one will know whether buying into NewCo was a good move or not, until the day comes to sell…and if you’re looking to sell imminently, then you shouldn’t have bought in in my opinion.

What is the “question at hand”? There’s so much noise on here I don’t actually know …

Has anyone thought that the demerger may actually be the best thing for shareholders, who are looking for improved performance in the near term?

If people DYOR properly, instead of repeating drivel, there are indications that further investment may be required there. E.g. Apparently the Poland site now requires automation, the suggestion being that wage inflation, even there, has changed the landscape.

At least we know who’s been selling. We knew after they publicly sided with Kelso that they (or their investors) were becoming frustrated. The fact that Kelso increased their holding, demonstrates the divergence of opinion.
