I can't remember the last time this share did anything. The bottom line here is that the company needs a partner to proceed. Looking at the board/management there is certainly the personnel here to pen a favourable deal. I expect that a deal will be done soon which will probably involve the entire cgnr licenced area. Clay Lake could be proved up quickly once a major is in the picture in tandom with the planning stage/construction stage at Clontibret. A camp of mines in relatively close proximity to each other (30 mile gold trend), in time, would bring real economies of scale.
The majors will be looking at the bigger picture here and not just clontibret. It is the bigger picture here that makes it so attractive. It's a case of what major will make the first move into gold along the Irish border area. It will happen.
Gold price is poor now and may get worse, but it will rise again when the tide changes. The price over time will have its highs and lows, but the world keeps turning and major companies do not have just short term outlooks.
Are the companies management in any discussions with potential jv partner/s?
I hope so. If not, then why not?
This company's objective should be the generation of shareholder value (as stated on their website). The dragging of feet here when it comes to a joint venture is annoying. One can only presume/hope that it has been in the shareholders best interest to take so long here.
It's a tightly held company with some very talented people on the board.
The share price is very unkind here, given what they have. I would argue that it must be the best value stock on AIM, given the clear multibag potential here when a joint venture is announced. It has been a long road.
