Why is this still being held back by market makers? It does not feel like a fair market. This has been the case here for some time with KDR. MMs need to get a grip here. I am not alone in noticing this.

I also wouldn't underestimate the role played by the GTK in this too. The GTK some years ago appeared to remove (over night) a lot of their references to diamonds from their website, almost removing any link between them and diamond exploration. Very odd given they have been heavily involved it diamond exploration in finland for years. Almost as if it never happened. Why. The GTK did all KDRs exploration for years and likely still do. There is a relationship, involving the GTK (Finland Govt involvement). I suggest a threesome at play . This consists of KDR/Rio Tinto/GTK. With Rio trying to portray a new improved image, it makes sense that they would help GTK too, as they seek to establish themselves a a major player in Finland. GTK = Geological Survey of Finland. GTK have worked for KDR for 20 yrs. Don't underestimate the significance of this relationship. There is a big picture to emerge.

You guessed it ...1st July 2020. (formed 19 May 2020......but registered on 1st July 2020).

Check it out for yourselves and look at the 4 directors. You will see 3 of the directors are diamond experts.

I suspect well in excess of £2m stevehoops. This is a serious programme testing all 38 kimberlites for diamonds. These kimberlite targets are all beside each other too. And we know they have diamonds. Rio will take this fairly smartly once results become evident. Its obvious. Why else would the Rio Tinto exploration Finland company formed not so long ago have installed 3 diamond experts out of the 4 directors. Hardly anyone picked up on that either.

Get the feeling 38 targets are going to be Blitzed. Would make sense. Prof said we have found it now.

Anyone know what kind of money needed for a programme of works like this with 38 Kimberlite targets to be tested. Drilling and excavation not cheap. Deep pockets have arrived but whose?

Yes stevehoops, It appears Rio Tinto are in investing smartly. If results from programme of works are as expected I expect Rio to secure this. KDR have hinted in interview that this is akin to lomonosov or better (closer to surface). Rio will not want anyone else sniffing around KDR or Kuhmo. This may be a big money acquisition for Rio Tinto.

Looks like most bedrock close to surface. Remember green diamond was found at surface. This all sounds to me like they know they are on the motherload and a major knows this too, hence the scale of the programme of works

This is a massive programme of works for KDR. To Excavate/Drill approx 40 targets. No way KDR can be paying for all that.

Who is paying????

Has to be Rio Tinto for this scale of programme.

It would be nice if KDR could reveal this to the market. Maybe they will.

The company and the share price has ridiculous potential, if they would just show some urgency. Management need to remember that KDR is not a private company. There is a share price and it is part of management’s responsibility to work to increase that. They need to also get the website sorted, the lack of information on it is inexcusable. As PJ said to them before…… Get a grip!……..that was of course before he was sworn to silence no doubt. Bet if you asked him now if KDR was still one of his best investment opportunities, he would not reply.

The juniors have no intention of mining the deposits, they know what a major will pay for the asset..massive money

Market simply hasn’t noticed yet, because as Patrick Power puts it, nobody has a clue how lucrative the diamond discoveries can be for the junior. When things get spelled out by newsflow the market will catch on .

Why do they still want to keep a lid on these shares.

I read the following below in June 2022. Perhaps the penny will drop when the results come in from Kuhmo. Prof talks like its a game changer.

That boulder/pod/xenolith at 90,000ct/ton = 1% diamonds. Yes 1%, which is completely off the charts. Do we know if that was definitely from the Lahtojoki original kimberlite or could that have actually been from the different kimberlite they have in Lahtojoki South, where the other boulders were found?
