KDR persevered for so many years with Lahtojoki, not only because it could be of great value to the company financially, but because it is of huge strategic importance logistically feeding into future plans for KDR elsewhere in Finland too. Interesting times ahead here for shareholders.

Lahtojoki alone as an asset now has a value many multiples of the current market capital. This took 7/8 years, and I believe delayed everything else for KDR. This will begin to rerate as the value of Lahtojoki alone as an asset sinks in with the market. KDR, true to their word……H1 (Q2) for permit. Credit to management here.

Massive disconnect between asset value and share price. Deals approaching, this share price is only going one way from here. Will rerate significantly.

No placing here. They are doing what they said. We know talks on number of fronts ongoing. This looks good now. Major investors see this back to 40/50p as soon as deals announced. I do too.

When CGNR announces a deal, the share price, in this type of gold price environment could really move. But in my view, only after a deal is announced. Hope talks are going well.

JP Morgan now expects gold prices to reach an average of $3,675/oz by 4Q25, on the way towards above $4,000/oz by 2Q26, with risks skewed towards an earlier overshoot of these forecasts if demand surpasses its expectations.

With gold price at approx $3330, CGNR is a very attractive target for majors. Big money investment from the likes of Newmont, Agnico Eagle or similar would make sense. Any deal needs to be big as shareholders have shown a lot of patience here.

Don’t see a placing here. Only see a deal incoming. Then this gets interesting.

Irish national newspapers have reported recently that there may be renewed interest in Ireland from international firms.

A new €30m investment fund – set up by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and designed to encourage new mines – had helped generate interest.

And the intense focus of the new Trump administration on mineral exploration in the likes of Greenland and Ukraine had also helped to put a renewed focus on the importance of securing mining resources.

According to the Irish independent newspaper -“We are hearing of potential new well-capitalised entrants into Ireland,” said one source. “Trump’s tariffs are potentially a spanner in the works, but they are also potentially an opportunity for this sector. "Now is a good time for Europe to have some certainty on the supply of metals used in sectors such as defence and telecommunications.”

I wonder might Lundin Mining be interested in NI, given their previous Ireland links and Galmoy links. I wouldn't bet against that. Agnico Eagle is another I would throw in the mix, when you include possibilities at Japilla and liperi in Finland to.

Guessing game, but any association with Major partners of this stature would be big for KDR. Ant this isn't even talking about the diamond side.

I wonder, should a substantial deal happen here, will DS and other negative posters still post here, or will they vanish.

The amazing thing here is that hardly anyone is looking or watching KDR. The market doesn't even see whats coming. The share price confirms that. It is the the few who make the effort to research and listen to the information available, that are ahead of the game here. The hoards will follow when the permit arrives and the reality of the permits importance dawns on them. Remember the permit had held this up 6-7 years. Role on Q2.

Certainly is a massive opportunity at this level. Cathal and Kevin were excellent in the recent stockbox interview. There is a controlled clarity in what the CFO says and how he says it which is very impressive and appreciated and the geologists passion for kimberlites is clear to see. He is a brilliant geologist to listen to.

1 year now since the Demir JV finished. Hopefully the management team can pull off a much larger deal soon. We could do with a deal announced before Easter to lift the mood here.

Can only hope they are close with a deal. Its been very long wait. I just think that this time around it will be a much bigger deal with a major like Newmont or someone similar. A big money commitment to a district scale project is whats needed and for CGNR to take a back seat in entire process. A 30% free carry or sell the lot. Its time a major took this on!

This is a hell of a long way from the £1.50 that was mooted by the prof. a few years ago.

At 2.8p current share price, if CGNR do a serious deal, it will need to be big.

CGNR shareholders (who have endured for so long) deserve some reward for their years of pain.

Its Q2 2025 and we are still down at 2.8p. A lot of shareholders are tapping their fingers on their desks waiting for

something to change here.

Hoops, you are spot on here and it will play out shortly in my view. It will certainly kick off in the next 12 weeks I suspect. After that, things will change here.
