Hoops I even found myself humming that. I suspect soletrader is buying KDR and trying his/her best to be relevant on this board…. Yes there will always be some people who read boards and get fooled by the likes of soletrader. But on the whole, most people invested in KDR are not stupid and see past his/her motives. Everything is done for a reason. I suspect someone is pulling his/her strings in the background. Nobody tries to bash a company every day without a sinister motive.

I find it so weird that posters come on here trashing their own company (presuming they are shareholders, because why else would you be here).

Like everyone I'm really peeved with the share price performance. Hopefully the board can be used for research, links, articles, diamond related.

The rest is just a bit weird.

Its time to ignore the silly stuff on this board, its getting old.

I do wonder where this endless supply of shares being sold is coming from. It is weird and has gone on far too long to make sense. It’s time this all reversed!

It’s way undervalued. At worst it’s wort multiples of the current share price….. very happy to hold and add in recent months. I have faith in management that they can get this over the line. Would like to see it this side of Christmas

Looks like soletrader has nothing to offer and just a time waster. Sounds like he/she has a chip on their shoulder…..probably best to ignore, as has nothing to add here

Good post focus4, I Think you sum it up perfectly. The bottom line is that proper money is needed to take this forward and can they attract the interest?

I hope there is a masterplan. I guess we will just have to wait and see. The prof always said that it could all change very fast. I'm just not getting any younger.

Yeh because the first thing you would do if you had “loads a money” would be to make sure you were on this board posting about KDR! Makes sense, doesn’t it?

When I make my millions, posting on here is just above that world cruise on the bucket list. My advice, don’t buy a share unless you have researched and believe in your research. Nobody appears on a board to trash a company just out of a longing to help others…..give me a break!

I would expect the 2 KDR licenses that were part of the 7 Northern Ireland licenses that had to be relinquished because of a departmental error to undergo the 12week consultation again should be close to being re-granted. What an embarrassment for the department. I’m sure Dalradian, CGNR, KDR, etc were furious that the y had to relinquish their Northern Ireland licenses temporarily so as to the department could fix their error. I hope the department apologized to the exploration companies, as this will have delayed us and could have delayed potential partner for Northern Ireland. 12 weeks should be up soon, so would like to think the department will immediately issue again, with an apology.

I wonder is the new hearing for the outstanding compensation matters this week as they were expected in Autumn, so I imagine some sort of date was indicated to the company. There needs to be a strategic partner lined up here, as they had plenty of time to secure one given the 8 yr delay in the mining permit. Time this company started to reflect some asset value. Time the company made some noise! The share price needs to be significantly higher. Warrants can then get exercised. I can barely remember warrants being exercised here. What’s the point in having them as an incentive, if they always lapse because the share price hasn’t risen. Warrants as a tool then become pointless. A strategic partner with the share price at 5p - 10p would surely see all warrants exercised and a significant lump of money raised for the company. The company cannot keep diluting shareholders and themselves. Hopefully, this year and this agm will be different.

Management did a good job putting a floor under CGNR around 10p. KDR should not be at its current level, given it has an actual mining permit, so would like to see KDR up at a similar level to CGNR. Hopefully KDR can do similar with KDR? Presume closed period ended today, so hopefully see some news-flow materialize soon.

As expected they are drilling Kuhmo as soon as the ground sufficiently frozen. Already -5C in kuhmo, so I imagine the drilling will be January when ground at its coldest……. Hopefully strategic investment close. Would like to see Fitz take a personal financial interest in KDR , now he is no longer a director.

The applications had to all be resubmitted, followed by a 12-week consultation period. Hopefully given the inconvenience this has caused all these companies, the Department will re-issue them at the earliest possible moment. What an embarrassment for the Department. You just couldn't make it up. I hope the companies get compensated for the inconvenience.

Relinquishment of 7 Mineral Prospecting Licences Awarded by the Department for the Economy on 8 May 2025

On 8 May 2025, the Department for the Economy granted the following seven Mineral Prospecting Licences:

Conroy Gold (Armagh) Limited – C1/25 and C3/25

Dalradian Gold Limited – DG3/25 and DG4/25

Flintridge Resources Ltd – OM4/25

Karelian Diamond Resources PLC – KDR1/25 and KDR/4/25

All seven of the above numbered Mineral Prospecting Licences were subsequently relinquished by the Licensees.

Mineral Prospecting Licence Applications

The Department has received the following seven new applications for Mineral Prospecting Licences.

2 applications from Conroy Gold (Armagh) Ltd, to be known as C1/25A and C3/25A

2 applications from Dalradian Gold Ltd, to be known as DG3/25A and DG4/25A

1 application from Flintridge Resources Ltd, to be known as FR1/25A

2 applications from Karelian Diamond Resources Plc, to be known as KDR1/25A and KDR4/25A.

Company chairman Brendan McMorrow said it is an "exciting time" for the company.

“We welcome the completion of this fundraising in a difficult market, which comes at an important time for the company as we progress work on our license areas in both Finland and Northern Ireland," he said.

"With these funds, together with the potential for follow-on finance through the exercising of related warrants, the year ahead promises to be an exciting one for the company.”

Mr. McMorrow added that several aspects of the company's portfolio are capable of "progressing rapidly".

Burgundy Diamond Mines hopes of survival appear to be pinned on securing a bailout from the federal government in the form of a large enterprise tariff loan, or LETL. LETLs were announced by Ottawa in March as a response to US tariffs.

If Burgundy don't survive.........Rio diamond interests coming to an end......De Beers possibly being sold to the Govt of Botswana......A strategic partner might do very well with KDR in developing the next world diamond district. It will be so much cheaper to mine in Finland than Canada.

Yeh, Rio are knocking exploration in Finland on the head(exploration targeted on the green economy).

No mention of diamond exploration. But then technically they were not exploring for diamonds in Finland. (KDR were doing that for them indirectly).

So we don't know if Rio are looking to move out of diamonds completely or not. With argyle gone and the last pink diamond auction over and their mine in Canada closing in a year or so, they are going to need the next big diamond district. If they are getting out of diamonds, then there will be others interested. Cant rule Rio Tinto out and Lahtojoki, though modest, could meet a pink diamond shortfall for them. Either way fancy diamonds from Finland from the first diamond mine in Europe is a marketing dream in my view. They will certainly command a premium.

Johnnycash1, thats a great point. I remember hearing Patrick Power from Arctic Star saying there was about 150 diamond exploration juniors and it is now about 5 including Arctic star and Karelian. Unbelievable really. What people don't realise is that for 10 yrs Karelian was given access to tranches of all Rio Tinto historic exploration data for Finland . This was information worth £40 to 50 million and KDR integrated all this with their own data for free.
