People have been talking criminal cases against Val conducting their business for years but they are still around, still raising fund, still paying high salaries and even bonuses every year and nothing change. If I was them then it would very easy for me to prove to the shareholders that I am adding value to the company just that the share price didn't reflect that.

I said few times that I wished no one but any more share in Val and see what the bod is made of, and I am angry like most of you. But I think either you like or not the company will still be around for long time, just that the race to find a cure to cancer is too important to shut down a company like this.

Stumbler, personally I would not say they are "brilliant scientists" as yet until they deliver something, if they are that brilliant and even their management skills not up to the standard then we would still see better sp range or even a big boy/girl would have knocked on the door already. Don't forget up to now VAL201 has been running at 5-6 years and still we see nothing significant release...

Let be honest about this, if they want to raise more than the remaining shares available to them I am sure they will be able to do either you like it or not so I would not focus too much on this. For long time the bod financial management is the worst I have ever seen but let see what the 201 results will bring. The company has spent million of £££ on trial for this compound and let hope the result will be before xmas and also after that many years and money let hope the results will bring some substances in it otherwise the company would be in serious trouble.

I must admit that I have been quietly buying shares in this company in the last 2 weeks, small amount at a time just to make sure my buys didn't affect the sp, it is a risk but let see. All the best.

Fredd1eboy, you are changing your opinion like changing a t-shirt and now great you made some profit, if I were you then I would keep quiet. Pump the hell out of this share and now you think it is great and don't sell.
I told many times on here and even last week, don't take any comment from people on twitter, they know no more than people on here know. Still, people keep falling for the same trap...

Arh, it was you Special666, I did say last week on here just your buy would guarantee to see a blue day. Generally, your current paper loss is not that bad in AIM market. Personally, I think the sp will move up again soon regardless of how bad the company is. So I would not worry too much but take this as a lesson and always set a stop loss in aim. All the best.

Teamhanz, if you look at it properly then the price for the placing was not bad, it was close to the actual sp at the time, the placing was expected and I was a bit surprised they left it that long. The problem here is someone obviously pumped the sp after the placing was completed for their own benefit, because the sp was so low any meaningful buying would see significant raise and of course it would attract buyers, someone came on here and said he bought £10K, just that amount would see a few % increased. I think the sp will go up again closer to the result of val201. All the best.

Not sure who mr Pugh is but it was written all over a placing was coming and I was expecting it since August. But hope that will be enough for them until the results of 201. I said before if VAL was in another sector then it could be finished long time ago, they are lucky to be in bio sector where early research are crucial so personally I think this company will be unlikely to go any time soon.

I was expecting placing anytime soon at anyway, no surprised, so some people who participated with the placing made some money I guess. At least it is now out of the way and you all can look forward to the 201 results, hope it will come before the end of this year for you...All the best

mathsprof, I would not take of what the company say, their credibility is minimal but as I said many times before it would be a big bonus if Val could get anything from val401. Even £1mil is a big plus let alone £5-£10-£100mil. All the best.

mathsprof, valseek only has val401, do you have any proof to say that it was worth £5mil in 2017? As far as I know the company is not floated, even if it was floated then the value would be significant less by now but that is for a different discussion. This is not ramp or deramp, it is interesting to know the facts. It does not make sense when one compound is worth more than 5 times the size of the company and it does not reflect that...

mathsprof, not sure how you came up with the idea Valiseek is now worth around £10-12m, for me that is a huge amount for something which has been proving anything yet, I think you are just guessing but I would be delighted for val if that is how much it is worth. Remember Val paid around £110,000 for it (with £50K in cash and the rest in share in the early of 2014).

Special666, everyone would think the same, they invest to make money but in reality very few people in aim market actually make money, majority are in red. If it was truth you invested £10K today then just your money alone would guaranty few percent in blue.

I would say don't bother about people from twitter, they know no more than you do, most of them got it wrong.

People, when roses said he could not get an offer for a worthwhile amount you need to understand that he tried to get a price for 50 millions shares at least. I was in total shocked when he mentioned he tried to get a sell price, I did not expect him to own any VAL share. BTW, I currently hold share in here but I hope the best for you all.

Of trading/investing I have never seen a share swinging around so fast like this one, it is just a perfect share for day trading. It is worser than an aim share.

Oiltap, if you still remember I told people on this board in late July that I bought in this share with my average was just under 0.020p and we briefly exchanged one post and you told me I was lucky, but I have to admit I sold out about 4 weeks ago. After I bought into the share I found out Colin Bird was the the chairman, to be honest as soon as I learnt that all my fate about the company just disappeared because this guy has bad reputation all over the places, I got massive burnt with XTR, all he did was dilution after dilution with returned of promises after promises. So he was the reason I pulled out and I think it is not nice for me to tell people here of the price I managed to get at the time. So what I am saying is that just be careful when this guy is around but I am sure you have enough experience to judge for yourself when to buy/sell. I think you have great knowledge about this and I wish you all the best.

I hold no share in this company which means my comment here is very much from an outsider. You all need to be a bit realistic, if the company needs money then there is no better time to raise money when the share value is still in good position, so this is a good time for the company rather than waiting few more weeks/months when the value may no be that great, I have seen many instances where the investors criticised the company for not raising fund when the sp was still good. You may be a bit disappointed the placing price not in the region you hoped for but there is always a reason why and we don't know. At least now the placing is out of the way. All the best.

I still remember once I tried to sell some shares in an oil company and could not get a price but decided to go ahead anyway and about 5mins later the trade went through and I got the best price before it went down because by pure luck there was a fury of buys right just before I put the order in, but not sure it would be similar here. Personally I am expecting a cash raise at any time now unless the bod decided to delay or pay in shares for their salary, deep down I think when it gets closer to year end people will drum up this share for val201 results and I would expect it will move north for how long and how much or sustainable or not is very much guessing...
